Product Overview of 40U Outdoor Telecommunication Cabinet
The ET-series 40U telecom power cabinet is an outdoor power solution designed for telecommunications applications. It delivers uninterrupted power protection, safeguarding customer equipment from both electrical faults and harsh environmental conditions. The cabinet can house telecom equipment with a total height of up to 40U and simultaneously powers both active and passive telecom devices. Equipped with a DC 48V rectifier system, it provides up to 18kW of power distribution for the internal telecom equipment and associated protection systems. With an 1U Field Supervision Unit (FSU) controller, it enables online monitoring and management of equipment status and operational events.
The cabinet offers an integrated, high-density, carrier-grade power platform that supplies reliable DC power to telecom central offices, mid-to-large data centers, and industrial facilities. Operating from a single-phase 220V AC input with a Class-C surge protective device (SPD), it delivers a precisely regulated DC output adjustable between –43V and –58V (typically set at –53.5V), while ensuring robust protection for the power system. With a maximum output capacity of 18kW, the system achieves conversion efficiencies exceeding 96% across most of its operating range, substantially lowering energy consumption and reducing associated cooling costs.
